Catnip Corner: XXXtina is BACK!!!

I came across Christina Aguilera's new video for her single, "Not Myself Tonight" and I've gotta give her PROPS because she looks AMAZING! Don't forget y'all, she's a M.I.L.F. now...these ain't the Mickey Mouse club days for her anymore!

This video is filled with lots of latex, whips, rhinestones, half-nakedness, stilettos, ball gags, sweat, models, hair pulling, S&M, dancing in the rain...you've just got to experience it for yourself:

After watching this and wiping the sweat from my brow, I was reminded of a favorite video of mine by Beyonce. Now I'm not saying Christina is copying B, but I do see some similarities in Beyonce's "Green Light" video:

And both styles of these talented women's videos originated with Madonna's "Human Nature" video:

I'm sure there were ones before my time so please excuse me for not giving them credit for paving the way for these artists!

Good look Christina! Lookin' like a hot mama indeed!

The Daily Knead: Splish Splash

I've never experienced a tsunami before, so this footage I found scared the crapola out of me.

Can you imagine being in the middle of this?

Let's just hope everyone in these clips made it out with just a bit of swimmer's ear.

The Daily Knead: I'm on a Boat!

So I was surfing the web as usual and came across this site that posts random stuff and saw photos of this dope ass boat:

I wouldn't even own a house as big as this thing is. I would just sit on international waters and have "my people" bring my what I need by speedboat. I wouldn't have to worry about anything and I like the sound of that. Sign me up for a 100 year payment plan for one of these babies LOL!

The Scratching Post: What's REALLY good in the "A?!"

Lance Gross will be in, "The Dirty" YET AGAIN, Saturday, April 24, 2010 hosting at the Geisha House. Dope venue for dinner, but I'm not too sure how the club scene works in there.

So is it just me or does it seem like Mr. Gross goes to Atlanta a LOT!

If you know what's up with the "A", you'll know why my heart just dropped and if you don't know what's up with the, "A" go and ask the ladies who reside there.

To make sure I wasn't trippin'...I had to dig up some of his past tweets. Yes it seems stalkerish, but I don't like making or giving an opinion of this nature without cold hard facts ESPECIALLY when it deals with this fine specimen.

So, the first time I knew Lance was in Atlanta, it was for "First Fridays" at the W Hotel. He would be there alongside Kenny Burns, Clinton Portis and Biz Markie on the ones and twos.

I got a hold of the video from the W and I must admit he was lookin' deelish, but after watching it again after all his "trips" it kinda makes me wonder...

First Friday Atlanta April 2010 Takes Over The W Midtown from Luther McElroy on Vimeo.

He was single in this video right? Where the girls at? I'm just saying...

Prior to hosting at the W, he posted that he will be, "directing a movie"...err...hosting at Vice in Atlanta.
Makes me wonder what kind of movie he had in mind to direct. The Mystery Van just pulled up and I think I see a feathered boa hanging out the the door...

And that's not all! Shortly after his hosting gig at the W, he was showing love to the "A" on his twitter page a couple of weeks after. Was he still there or did he go back? Hmm...

And finally he arrived fresh off the plan in Atlanta AGAIN, a couple of weeks later for this Saturday's event at the Geisha House. Is he from Atlanta? I thought he was from Oakland. Hmm...

But I'm not assuming anything...YET, just making an observation so I'm not surprised later (just in case). You know pussycats don't like to be startled. LOL!

I bet you do Lance...I bet you do...

The Daily Knead: COACHELLA '10

There were some GREAT performances I heard, but NONE compare to this:

Now THAT'S what I call ENTERTAINMENT! LOL!

Kitty Litter: Ciara's RIDE to Distruction!

Ciara premiered her new video, "Ride" featuring Ludacris. Now if you don't know, Ciara is an AMAZING dancer, but her moves in her new video reminds me of a Chippendale's stripper.

The song is basically about how she rides the pipe and how dudes dig it. I ain't mad at ya' Ciara, but I know you can do better:

So for whatever reason, I feel like R. Kelly could have wrote this song. I'm going to have to look that up. And another thing...what's the "trend" with bathing suits and fur coats in videos?! That's so 90's! Remember when Lil' Kim was doing that?

I'm just sayin'...

Another moment of silence...

The bad news keeps coming today as Dorothy Height, a leading civil rights activist, died today at the age of 98.

Paving the way and blazing the trail alongside Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil right upholders, she will be forever remembered as a woman who stood up for equality and respect.

God has blessed us with this woman's strength and courage so I am sending my deepest condolences to the family of this phenomenal woman!

May you rest in peace!

A Moment of Silence...

A sad day has come as we mourn the death of Hip Hop icon, Guru, from the legendary group Gangstarr.

Guru, 43, lost his tiring battle with cancer April 19, 2010. I would like to take a moment to send my condolences to the family of Guru, born Keith Elam, who was a staple at shaping the world of true Hip Hop.

Before his death, Guru released a letter to his fans via his press agency as follows:

"I, Guru, am writing this letter to my fans, friends and loved ones around the world. I have had a long battle with cancer and have succumbed to the disease. I have suffered with this illness for over a year. I have exhausted all medical options.

I have a non-profit organization called Each One Counts dedicated to carrying on my charitable work on behalf of abused and disadvantaged children from around the world and also to educate and research a cure for this terrible disease that took my life. I write this with tears in my eyes, not of sorrow but of joy for what a wonderful life I have enjoyed and how many great people I have had the pleasure of meeting.

My loyal best friend, partner and brother, Solar, has been at my side through it all and has been made my health proxy by myself on all matters relating to myself. He has been with me by my side on my many hospital stays, operations, doctors visits and stayed with me at my home and cared for me when I could not care for myself. Solar and his family is my family and I love them dearly and I expect my family, friends, and fans to respect that, regardless to anybody's feelings on the matter. It is my wish that counts. This being said I am survived by the love of my life, my sun KC, who I trust will be looked after by Solar and his family as their own. Any awards or tributes should be accepted, organized approved by Solar on behalf myself and my son until he is of age to except on his own.

I do not wish my ex-DJ to have anything to do with my name likeness, events tributes etc. connected in anyway to my situation including any use of my name or circumstance for any reason and I have instructed my lawyers to enforce this. I had nothing to do with him in life for over 7 years and want nothing to do with him in death. Solar has my life story and is well informed on my family situation, as well as the real reason for separating from my ex-DJ. As the sole founder of GangStarr, I am very proud of what GangStarr has meant to the music world and fans. I equally am proud of my Jazzmatazz series and as the father of Hip-Hop/Jazz. I am most proud of my leadership and pioneering efforts on Jazzmatazz 4 for reinvigorating the Hip-Hop/Jazz genre in a time when music quality has reached an all time low. Solar and I have toured in places that I have never been before with GangStarr or Jazzmatatazz and we gained a reputation for being the best on the planet at Hip-Hop/Jazz, as well as the biggest and most influential Hip-Hop/Jazz record with Jazzmatazz 4 of the decade to now. The work I have done with Solar represents a legacy far beyond its time. And we as a team were not afraid to push the envelope. To me this is what true artists do! As men of honor we stood tall in the face of small mindedness, greed, and ignorance. As we fought for music and integrity at the cost of not earning millions and for this I will always be happy and proud, and would like to thank the million fans who have seen us perform over the years from all over the world. The work I have done with Solar represents a legacy far beyond its time and is my most creative and experimental to date. I hope that our music will receive the attention it deserves as it is some of the best work I have done and represents some of the best years of my life."
(Letter courtesy of AllHipHop.com)

May God be with his loved ones during this difficult time and may the legacy of Hip Hop reign on.

May you rest in peace!

Catnip Corner: Welcome to, "The Boondocks"

Season 2 of the Boondocks is coming May 2, 2010? Are you ready?

The Daily Knead: Call the Po' Po'

Carbon Motors is shopping its E7 police car prototype to law enforcement agencies.

It signed a deal to buy diesel engines from BMW according to AutoWeek via MSN.COM.

After "Frankensteining" and turbocharging these cars with the BMW X5 engines, the E7 is expected to launch in 2012.

For those who ignore speed limits (like myself) you might want to start beefing up your HP so you can at least out run this bad boy when it hits your local freeways.

At the same time, I wouldn't mind getting arrested just so I can be driven around in this. Sorry to say, it's pretty dope.

The Scratching Post: I think NOT!

I would not put my puppies in these bad boys because they are ug-ga-lee!

Maybe my eye for fashion is starting to go south because I cannot SEE why these shoes were made. They have muppet fur trim and a Marie Antionette accent. Wait...are those boats?

I try to stay away from fashion trends on this blog (because fashion bloggers are PSYCHO), but I just HAD to say something about these shoes.

Ugh...put these back in the vault!

The Scratching Post: A Spectacular Explanation

I guess Kiely heard y'all...and now she responds. Take a look:

Off subject...I must say, she is a VERY pretty girl!

That is all...

XoXo,
Kitty Fyne

Kitty Litter: Call me rude girl, GIRL can you take that off?!

Rhi Rhi...sorry Boo Boo, but you look like Boo Boo the Fool with that hot mess you have on. Take that off girl!

I know people love your new "style" even though you push the envelope clear off the table in some cases (please see: Up, Up and AWAY).

Now I DIG you...don't think I don't...not that you care or anything, but what did you expect when you put that on? I want to know how the conversation went between her and her stylist while putting this together.

Probably something like this:
Rhi Rhi: I need to be "edgy" (her favorite word) since it's still daylight . Whatchu' got for me?
Stylist: Pick one random thing from each rack and watch me work my magic!
Rhi Rhi: Oooh flower print! Ey! Oooh leopard print! Ey! Ey! Is that fringe?! Ey! Ey! Ey! Ey!
Stylist: Giiiiiiiiirl...you are looking FIERCE! I feel like something is missing though...
Rhi Rhi: Should I carry an umbrella ella ella ella ey?

LOL! Cheap shot I know, but I'm just calling it like I see it. If she or ANYBOY in the public eye is out and about looking like a "fashionable" old woman who works in her yard all day...don't get mad at me because I'm merely calling a spade a spade.

And no, I don't know who she is wearing, nor do I care...if you like it, look it up ya' damn self! And if I catch you out in the streets looking like this, I'm putting you on blast too! Just make sure your legs look as good as Rihanna's though!

Kitty Litter: Disney gone WILD!

Miss Kiely who originated from the group 3LW, then moved on to The Cheetah Girls, then ended up as well...you be the judge:

I don't know what to make of her new song or video. I don't hate it. I don't love it. Her singing is well...bad, but so are half of the so-called "singers" out right now.

I guess she has proven the undeniable fact of if you lack talent, but have a cute face and a nice body, you too can have a solo career.

I mean...her old band members aren't any better...did you see Adrienne Bailon's (whose a Scorpio mind you) nudey pics a few years back which were leaked around the same time they announced to In Touch Weekly that they were breaking up as the Cheetah Girls and pursuing solo careers (I think I just saw the Mystery Van pull up)?
Or the O.G. 3LW member, Naturi Naughton, who went BUCK WILD in "Notorious" but, hey, they're grown.

The Scratching Post: The Graduation of a Groupie!

I would like to congratulate a former “friend” of mine that has officially graduated and received her PhD in, "Groupie Fundamentals."

Not only has she gotten an up and coming singer/ songwriter/ producer by the balls (i.e. the wallet) who's been featured on MAJOR artists records and SIGNED to a MAJOR recording label, but she just dropped her 1st child (officially naming her, “Baby Momma #2”) and has been relieved of all duties (i.e. “lifting a finger.”)

I would like to say on record, that this chick is SMART and deserves her PhD in, "Groupie Fundamentals." She studied very long and walked down the graduation floor when her little tyke was born.

Isn’t that lovely? And all she had to do was sacrifice a “friendship” in order to accomplish her dream of becoming a stay at home mom and leaving behind her aspirations of becoming the next Beyonce…or was it Christina Aguilera…or was it Leona Lewis? Which she wasn’t even CLOSE to being in the first place.

Well...whatever the case…CONGRATS on the little miracle you’ve got there Honey! Hope your cellulite hasn’t become more of an issue than it already was and let's pray your little boyfriend doesn't leave you once he REALLY makes it big.

CONGRATULATIONS...
Hoe!

Catnip Corner: Sex And the City 2

I am ECSTATIC for the new, "Sex and the City 2" movie hitting theaters May 27, 2010!

If you know the stories, the shopping, the shoes and the MEN you know part two will be just as good as the series and the first movie. And if it doesn't satisfy, I'm sure being "tickled pink" on Cosmos before you enter the movie theater will help numb the pain!

I don't know about you gals (and guys), but I plan to be LOADED watching this film. Not only will I have a few cocktails with my girlfriends before entering the movie theater, but the Arclight in Hollywood has a full bar that I will be patronizing prior to sitting in my chosen seat to rest my feet adorned with my beige Gucci mules. Yes...I will be going ALL OUT!

If you have been living under a rock and haven't seen the previews for Sex and the City 2, then take a gander at the fabulousness of this feature:
